With a successful career in marketing and PR, as well as five years managing her own business, Caroline Rush was well equipped for the role of Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council when she was appointed in 2009. Under her guidance, the BFC has undertaken a number of groundbreaking projects, including the launch of London Collections Men, Britain’s only biannual menswear trade showcase for more than 130 designers, as well as various initiatives designed to support outstanding talent in the fields of millinery, jewellery and fashion design. On top of this, Rush has also brought British designers to the global market via the expansion of the LONDON show ROOMS and Style Suites.
