American luxury fashion and accessories brand Coach have opened an impressive new global flagship on Regent Street dubbed 'Coach House.' Coinciding with the brand's 75th anniversary year, the store is the vision of Creative Director Stuart Vevers and President of Studio Sofield, William Sofield, occupying 504 square metres with an interior inspired by distinctive New York architecture – featuring glass walls, imagery of the city's skyline and a mechanised conveyor belt showcasing the latest collection. Vevers has promised that the new store will feature 'special installations and store concepts as well as commissioned interiors and art,' and will include a focus on the brand's heritage of leather craftsmanship. A made to order service will allow customers to create a bespoke Rogue bag using nine different options and over one million possible combinations. The ground floor will also host a Craftsmanship Bar, where Coach artisans will guide customers through the process of monogramming and customisation, as well as providing leather care and repair services. On top of this, the Coach 1941 ready-to-wear collections for both men and women will be available to shop, as well as unique pieces exclusive to the Regent Street store, including a limited edition collection of vintage motorcycle jackets and Rogue bags stitched with London-themed patches.
