Despite having only been established in 2006, shoe brand Gaziano & Girling has made considerable waves in the luxury industry since it was founded. In just ten years, founders Tony Gaziano and Dean Girling have opened their own factory in Northampton (alongside shoe brand giants who have been established in the area for more than 100 years) built a loyal customer base across the globe, and become the first shoe brand to own a standalone store on Savile Row. Known for high quality mens footwear, available through a bespoke or made-to-order service, Tony and Dean are proud to claim that each pair of Gaziano & Girling shoes can last from 15-20 years with the proper care, made from the highest quality leathers and constructed by talented British craftspeople.
Over the years, as the brand's customer base has grown, the founders noticed that female customers were expressing increasing interest in Gaziano & Girling's men's styles, even snapping up pairs for themselves. From this, the idea for a women's range was born – launching last week. The range features three styles – the Maddison Chelsea boot, the Liberty slip-on and a one-eyelet derby called the Florence. Within this are styles in calf, alligator, stingray and lizard, available as made to order as well as through a bespoke service, with customers able to mix and match colours, skins and styles to suit their tastes. Promising superior comfort, the shoes are available in a range of widths, creating a personalised fit that is rarely available in women's shoes. What better excuse to throw away the cheap, uncomfortable footwear hiding at the back of your wardrobe and purchase something that will last. Head over to the flagship store to browse the collection.
