If you're used to trekking out of town for your outlet shopping, then prepare to have the game changed by Hackney Walk – London's first ever luxury outlet district.  Twelve unused railway arches have been converted into fashion spaces which are now home to brands such as Gieves & Hawkes, Zadig & Voltaire, Ugg, Joseph and matchesfashion.com (the first ever outlet store for the brand). These new stores will accompany a cluster of premium outlet shops that already called the area home including Anya Hindmarch, Burberry, Aquascutum, Bally and Pringle of Scotland, combining to form one new, exiting and dynamic shopping district. On top of the shopping, Hackney Walk is also looking to establish itself as a hub for fashion and arts experiences, having already hosted masterclasses with designers such as Holly Fulton, Piers Atkinson and Katie Eary, with plenty more exciting events on the horizon.
