Jason Atherton

Currently one of the hottest names in London’s luxury dining scene, Atherton displayed potential early in his career when he became the first British chef to complete a stage at Spain’s prestigious elBulli restaurant. From there he went on to hone his skills under Gordon Ramsay, before opening his own flagship Mayfair restaurant Pollen Street Social in 2011, rocketing his reputation to the top of the London dining world. Within six months of opening, the restaurant had scooped a Michelin star, prompting Atherton to build on this success with a family of highly regarded London restaurants including Little Social, Berners Tavern, Typing Room and Social Wine & Tapas. Atherton’s latest project, Sosharu – set to launch this March in Clerkenwell – promises casual yet refined Japanese cuisine that incorporates seasonal British ingredients.
