With the Chelsea Flower Show fast approaching (24th-28th May), now is the time to start thinking floral and fill your home and garden with beautiful plants. However, if you don't know your peony from a pansy, then city florists Grace & Thorn are on hand to teach you how to display your blooms perfectly. Teaming up with Sanderson London, the experts are hosting two masterclasses in May, designed to teach you the essentials of horticultural display. On the 23rd of May you can learn all about how to build your own terrarium and on the 25th the florists will be demonstrating how to create the perfect hand-tie bouquet, with the chance to take your masterpieces home with you from both events. Glasses of champagne will also be circulating, to help unleash your horticultural creativity.

As an added bonus, you can also reward yourself after all that hard work with a Mad Hatter's Tipsy Tea, which includes savoury bites such as Wiltshire ham and smoked applewood croque-monsieur and caviar scotch eggs, alongside four nature-inspired cocktails such as rose and cucumber G&T and a juniper cosmo. Sweet treats include a tantalising red velvet vodka ladybird and banana and rum bread-and-butterfly.
