This week, motoring fans gathered at Aston Martin Mayfair to celebrate the launch of the Verve Rally – a female friendly, carbon neutral car rally travelling through the finest roads across Europe. Taking place from the 30th of July through to the 3rd of September, the Rally will commence from London, travelling through France, Reims, Lyon, Nice and Monte Carlo and onto Lake Como, Lucerne, Frankfurt and Bruges before finishing back in London on a spectacular journey of luxury, fine dining and stunning landscapes. The nine day event promises an idyllic journey through some of Europe's most spectacular scenery, with an average driving time of four hours per day, punctuated by stop-offs at restaurants serving a the best of local delicacies. Participants are encouraged to go as fast or slow as they like, taking in the scenery at a pace that suits them. The rally is the vision of entrepreneurs Marcus and Darshana who believe we need to "give back what we take," and as such the event will be offsetting its carbon footprint by planting trees across the world in association with Plant a Tree Foundation and Treedom. Participants can drive their own luxury car or hire something spectacular through Verve's partnership with a prestigious car rental company. For more information, click below.
