50m: The London Concept Store Dedicated to the Fashion Community

Jessica Bumpus explores a new store that is giving a much-needed boost to the retail ambitions of London’s young fashion designers


London has had its fair share of concept stores for young and emerging designers over the years but its latest, 50m, located in Belgravia’s buzzy new Eccleston Yards locale and the brainchild of art, design and activist collective Something & Son, aims to be more concrete than concept compared to those that have come before it.

“It’s a permanent commitment to supporting London’s fashion community,” says co-founder Paul Smyth, who has a background in community-based projects that work to solve social and environmental issues.
