Curating luxury for the discerning traveller

Celebrate the importance of modern craftsmanship at the LOEWE Foundation’s exhibition at The Design Museum. Running from May 4 to June 17, the newest addition to the museum will showcase some of the best contemporary works shortlisted for the 2018 edition of the LOEWE Craft Prize.

Launched in 2016, the accolade honours the creativity, excellence and innovation in modern craftsmanship spanning a range of styles – ceramics, metalwork, glass, woodwork, jewellery and more. Ultimately, it pays homage to LOEWE’s 1846 beginnings as a craft workshop.

Apr 30th 2018

This year, the exhibition is set to showcase the works of 30 expert panel-selected finalists hailing from 18 countries and with an array of talents. With submissions ranging from Singapore, the UK, Italy and more, the 2018 exhibition is set to be a truly global celebration of the best craftsmanship in the world.
