BBC Proms in the Park

For eight weeks, the BBC Proms in the Park takes over Hyde Park with undoubtedly the most eclectic programme of the summer. This year, headliners include the English-Italian singer-songwriter, Jack Savoretti, iconic duo Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tucker – best known as the Lighthouse Family (expect to be lifted) – and the UK’s own soul diva Gabrielle. Enjoy it even more with the VIP hospitality experience, which provides an exclusive terrace from which to view the concert, along with afternoon tea (served before 5pm), a complimentary bar providing beer, wine, Prosecco and soft drinks, a three-course meal with waiter service, a cloakroom and restroom facilities and a souvenir programme. Tickets from £45, VIP hospitality from £439 (plus £10 booking fee). If you’re in town for the last night, this is the big ticket, when you can expect singalongs and fireworks with your dose of popular classical music performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

19 July-14 September.
