This pine-lined outdoor theatre is London’s only private rooftop cinema, intimately entertaining just eight guests per viewing. Four handmade wooden chalet-inspired cabins, crafted to cosily fit two guests each, add a stylish sprinkle of rustic chic.
At the rooftop winter cinema guests will enjoy two festive fan favourites daily whilst wrapped up in warm blankets and equipped with hot water bottles. Children and their grown up companions are invited to enjoy the first showing of ‘Home Alone’ at 5:15pm, while the second showing of ‘The Holiday’ at 7:45pm is reserved for adults only.
Guests are able to pre-order festive fare and are given the choice of three different menus, each a nod to a different ski destination. Dishes include a decadent truffle macaroni cheese and spiced beef hot dogs from the Aspen menu, cheese fondue and a truffle-topped potato rosti from Gstaad and an exquisite tartiflette from Courchevel. The Berkeley Rooftop Winter Cinema offers mulled wine, which will be served on arrival, as well as Laurent-Perrier, which will be on-hand to pour a trio of fine champagnes for a final flourish of Christmas glamour.
Each guest will also receive a festive treat from Berkeley kitchens to take home with them. Younger guests will be spoilt with bottomless hot chocolate throughout the screenings and can feast on a menu of mini burgers, French fries and brownies.
Reservations are open for the Rooftop Winter Cinema and can be made by phone on 0207 201 1654 or by email at [email protected]. Adult tickets are priced at £95 and children’s tickets at £75. Click here for more information on The Berkeley Rooftop Winter Cinema.
