Darling House is a house party-style bar unlike any other

The experimental and immersive venue will keep guests entertained all night long

Darling House is a newly-opened townhouse, tucked discreetly above Waterloo restaurant, Hello Darling.

The venue is a veritable warren of hand-decorated and curiously furnished rooms, any, or all of which can be yours for the evening.

After entering through a painting on the wall of the restaurant below, you’ll find a mixologist, cabaret performances and a brass doorbell to open a secret Champagne hatch.

Darling & Edge, theatrical set designers who have dressed some of London’s most unusual supper clubs, have masterminded their next exciting and unexpected full-time home and playground.

Visitors are encouraged to hang out in the house as if it were their own. This unique drinking experience offers guests the opportunity to sip cocktails in the bathtub, flirt in the kitchen, press for prosecco in the hallway, lounge in the library or host the ultimate private house party.

A mixologist is on hand to serve inventive cocktails all evening from a little cupboard on the landing. If you find your way upstairs you can ring a brass doorbell that will open a hidden cupboard in the wall where a magnum of Prosecco will appear.

Darling House is also available for private bookings for the most elegant of house parties. Different rooms can be arranged for various occasions to add extra entertainment which includes burlesque in the bedroom, magic in the library and singing with a queen in the bathtub. With its abundance of personality, Darling House is open Thursday through Saturday and is large enough to host sixty party-goers. Visit this new kind of cocktail bar that will transport you into a new place to play.
