A Men’s Superbrand Destination
The new Menswear Designer Room, designed by David Collins Studio, continues the boldness of Superbrands and the intricate detail of the first Men’s Designer Room. The design intention focuses on the room as a sleek, contemporary space perfectly combining a refined, monochromatic scheme exemplified in its key stainless steel and Negro Marquina black marble elements, with textured detail and layers of blue emerging through leather cladding, coloured timber and stone. Monolithic, geometric and modern qualities are embodied in the inlaid stone floor, which brings in a sense of continuity from the Men’s Superbrands destination in its combination of Carrara and Bardiglio marble.
Harrods Head of Menswear, Simon Longland, says of the new Designer Room: “The brand edit in the newest Designer Room is curated to complement the previously launched Men’s Designer Room, which takes a timeless, seasonless and trendless approach. With a variety of aesthetic perspectives, the new room presents a selection of highly celebrated brands all with a strong sense of their own identity and includes some of the most dynamic and influential designers in menswear today. The brands in this room will be evolving with the seasons to ensure that Harrods moves and adapts to changes in the menswear market.”
