FORGOTTEN MASTERS: INDIAN PAINTING FOR THE EAST INDIA COMPANY
To 19 April

The first UK exhibition of works by Indian master painters, this show is an unprecedented opportunity to see original paintings commissioned by East India Company officials in the late 18th and 19th centuries. These artworks offer a glimpse of the cultural fusion between British and Indian artistic styles during this period. Curated by the renowned writer and historian, William Dalrymple, these works are recognised as some of the greatest masterpieces of Indian painting.
